Iddon set to ride SIC Supermoto and Superprestigio

Christian Iddon will be rounding out his 2014 race season with two high-profile out-of-season race meetings as he competes in the SIC Supermoto event and the Superprestigio short track.
Having not raced since taking a dramatic pole position at the Assen round of the British Superbike Championship, it will be an excited end to the season with these two stand-alone events.
First, Iddon will be going back to his roots and racing on a Supermoto machine once more. The SIC Supermoto race is held in Latina (ITALY) on the 6th and 7th of December and is held in aid of the Marco Simoncelli foundation. The team event will see Iddon partnered up with 2013 European Supermoto champion Edgardo Borella and will be racing aboard a Gazzarata Honda.
The 58 lap relay event will be held on the Sunday of the two day event with Iddon and team-mate Borella taking on the very best of the World Supermoto competitors including World champion and vice champion Thomas Chareyre and Mauno Hermunen as well as a raft of top road racers including Max Biaggi, Andrea Dovizioso and Leon Haslam, to name just a few.
The very next week Iddon will be heading to Barcelona for the Superprestigio short track, where he will be racing aboard a Grau Motos Suzuki in the Palau San Jordi stadium on the evening of Saturday 13th December.
The event has attracted a huge array of talent including some of the very best in short track, including AMA Dirt track champion Brad ‘the bullet’ Baker and British superstar duo of Tim and Tom Neave. The event also hosts the cream of Road racing talent including all 3 MotoGP class champions Marc Marquez, Tito Rabat and Alex Marquez as well as WSBK legend Troy Bayliss and fans favourite Guy Martin.
