Era il 2006 quando Claudio Lusuardi preparò una Bimota DB5 per partecipare al Campionato Italiano Supertwins e al Ducati Desmo Challenge (DDC). Il pilota Paolo Bentivoglio arrivò 2° nel supertwins e vinse il Ducati Challenge.
