MACAU GP

Sabato 17 si è svolto la 46° edizione del Gran Premio motociclistico di Macao. Forse non molti sanno che Bimota ha partecipato a qualche edizione del GP ottenendo anche buoni risultati, il più prestigioso è il secondo posto ottenuto da Peter Rubatto (su YB4) nel GP del 1988, dietro a Kevin Scwantz su RG500 2 tempi.
Di seguito alcune foto delle moto che hanno partecipato negli anni.

On Saturday 17th was disputate the 46th edition of Macau's motorcycle GP. Perhaps someone doesn't know Bimota was present in some edition of GP and Bimota's rider got some good results, the best was the second place got by Peter Rubatto and his YB4 on GP 1988, only behind Kevin Schwantz on RG500 2 stroke.

EICMA - data sheet

Di seguito vi posto le immagini dei data sheet dei nuovi modelli presentati all'EICMA. Impressiona il grafico di potenza della DB11VLX sopratutto se confrontato con quello della DB11 standard.

La DB12 B.Tourist pur essendo una moto da turismo (serbatoio maggiorato) mantiene comunque un peso contenuto.

Interessante notare come sulla DBX sia possibile montare pneumatici di diverse misure come ci si aspetta da una moto fuoristrada.

Below I post the picture of new models' data sheet showed in EICMA. The DB11VLX power graphic's impress yourself, especially if you compare with DB11 standard power graphic's.

The DB12 B.Tourist is a sport tourer bike (with a bigger tank) but it isn't so heavy too.

It is interesting to see as possible on DBX use many type of wheels as like on real cross-country bike.

Molti clienti chiedono a Bimota di riproporre un modello basato su un motore 4 cilindri e così l’azienda ha deciso di ampliare la gamma dei modelli equipaggiati con i bicilindrici Ducati, unici al mondo per prestazioni, dimensioni ridotte e versatilità, con un nuovo modello; da qui l’importante collaborazione con BMW Motorrad. In EICMA verrà proposto un primo prototipo che darà l’idea della produzione futura, destinato a far parlare di sé per stile e potenza. Già da nel 2013 vedrà la luce la BB2, progetto che unisce lo stile unico di Bimota alla qualità motoristica tedesca di BMW che equipaggerà questo modello con il suo 4 cil. da 193cv già utilizzato su S1000RR. Questa operazione sigla un futuro di collaborazione che riserverà un sacco di sorprese interessanti nel futuro immediato di queste 2 importanti aziende leader del settore motociclistico.
