EICMA

La prossima settimana inizia l'EICMA alla fiera di Milano Rho. L'anno scorso è stato un appuntamento ricco di novità per la casa riminese, novità che hanno sbalordito gli appassionati, ricordiamole un attimo:
- DB9 Brivido (base + S carbon)
- DB10 B.motard
- BBX 300 2T
- BBX 508 4T

Ora fermiamoci a ragionare su quali possano essere i nuovi prodotti che Bimota presenterà alla luce di quanto messo in produzione di recente.
Le due BBX hanno riscosso un notevole interesse e se i problemi legati alla produzione dei motori in Spagna sono stati risolti non è da escludere che possano essere ri-presentate nella versione definitiva.
Bimota stà consegnando le DB9, percui escluderei la presentazione di una nuova nuda, così come di una sorella maggiore della B.motard (vedi Ducati hypermotard con motore 848).
Per quanto possa essere interessante l'adozione del motore "superquadro" Ducati che equipaggia la 1199 non credo sia possibile, visto che da una recente intervista il Dott. Brotto (A.D. Bimota) ha dichiarato che Ducati ha vincolato il suo motore per 2 anni prima di concederlo ad altri costruttori di motociclette, quindi è più ragionevole pensare ad un suo eventuale impiego il prossimo anno.
La Tesi è una moto che da tempo non viene rivista, potrebbe essere giunto il momento di affiancare alla 3D monoposto, una versione biposto e con manubrio alto, in fin dei conti la Tesi fa parte del segmento naked.
Ma il modello di punta? Quale potrebbe essere? Una nuova sportiva con motore fra i più prestazionali attualmente usati in superbike e con una elettronica di riferimento. Con buona pace dei giapponesi i nomi sono due: Aprilia e BMW. Il primo potrebbe però essere più un problema in quanto Ducati potrebe decidere di non fornire più i suoi motori a Bimota (attualmente tutta la gamma Bimota è motorizzata Ducati) percui forse non è attualmente un fornitore probabile.
BMW è sicuramente dotata di un motore potente e di una elettronica sofisticata ma anche qui potrebbero sorgere dei problemi in futuro in quanto Ducati (ora che appartiene ad una diversa proprietà, tedesca e in rivalità con BMW) decidesse di non fornire più i motori a Bimota.
Certo è, come vociferano in molti che Bimota potrebbe presentare un prototipo CRT proprio motorizzato BMW, personalmente non lo ritengo probabile in quanto la casa riminese è già impegnata nello svluppo della Moto2 ed sviluppare una nuova moto per le competizioni non è cosa da poco.
Sarò felice se verrò smentito dall'operato dei tecnici Bimota, e secondo voi cosa verrà presentato all'EICMA?

We stop now to think about the probabily news for this year.
The two BBX was look with interest by visitors and if Bimota resolves the problem with production of engine in Spain it is very probaily we see the models in the finally version, ready for production.
Bimota is shipping the DB9 and so it is unprobabily a new naked-muscle bike, at the same way for DB10 I don't think it is possible to see a gran sister (like Ducati Hypermotard with 848 engine).
About the new Ducati "superquadro" engine, it use on 1199, it is not possible to see use on Bimota's bikes because, as said Dott. Brotto (CEO Bimota), Ducati binds it for 2 years before to give it to one another motorcycle builder. So it is more probabily to see it the next year.
Tesi is probabily in the center to a rinnovate process, perhaps double seat and with a handlebar.
But the very important model? The star of exhibition? A new hypersport bike with one of the best superbike engine and electronic equipment in the superbike category at the moment. I'm sorry with japanese builder but at the moment the best are probabily Aprilia and BMW. Aprilia is italian factory as like Ducati, the current production of Bimota is totally with Ducati engine's, so it is a probabily use a Aprilia engine's.
BMW has a power engine and a sophisticated electonic unit, but Ducati (now is property is a German copetitor of BMW) can decide to stop its supply to Bimota.
It is possible, many people think so, that Bimota can show a prototype of CRT with BMW engine. In my opinion it is not possible because Bimota is just working on Moto2 project and starting wing a new idea it isn't so simple.
